The best restaurants in Costa Smeralda for your Sardinia yacht charter

Blog

A Sardinia yacht charter is the chance to experience the best restaurants in Costa Smeralda. Located on the north-eastern coast of Sardinia, the Costa Smeralda perfectly balances gorgeous landscapes with pampered living. In the 1960s, under the impulse of the Aga Khan, the Porto Cervo area turned into a real eco-friendly resort: luxury hotel developments, villas, designer shops and a superb port facility to accommodate the largest yachts in the Mediterranean. During your yacht charter vacation in Sardinia, you will find that as in most luxury resorts, some restaurants are more sight than quality but below are our best addresses for a dinner ashore.

The gardens of Gianni Pedrinelli in Porto Cervo at nightfall, one of the best restaurants in Costa Smeralda

Gianni Pedrinelli

This renowned classic Porto Cervo restaurant is hardly classifiable. At Pedrinelli's, you will meet the jet set, dine on Sardinian food in a truly charming setting and be served by a professional staff. Unfortunately, the prices are high and the cuisine, if of acceptable quality, does not justify the rates. In short, if the purse permits, we suggest you visit and make your own opinion! If you try the address, we recommend the lobster pasta, homemade ravioli and gnocchi or the roasted lamb with myrtle.
The terrace of the restaurant Il Paguro located in the resort Capo d'Orso in the archipelago of La Maddalena

Il Paguro

If you are cruising the Maddalena Archipelago, Il Paguro is the ideal place to anchor for dinner. Located within the Capo d'Orso hotel, the restaurant has a fabulous terrace overlooking the beach of Cala Capra. We particularly recommend seafood specialities. Its informal atmosphere and friendly staff will seduce you, far from the excess of Porto Cervo. The wine list is interesting with some good local wines.
The pool of the Mira Luna restaurant with a view of the bay of Cannigione and some tables set up for dinner

MiraLuna

Located witing the resort of Villa del Golfo, the MiraLuna restaurant offers a pleasant seating in a lovely patio overlooking the Cannigione Bay. The Chef sources local products and delivers a delightful Mediterranean cuisine. The reflections of the pool, soft music and great cocktails contribute to the relaxing atmosphere of this place.
Tables set in a rocky garden at the traditional Pedristellas restaurant in Porto Rotondo

PedRistellas

Located in Porto Rotondo, Pedristellas is a traditional restaurant that offers an enchanting setting amidst trees and boulders – the decor is enhanced by the night lighting. Food is simple but tasty, offering an excellent price/quality ratio - the menus are particularly good value for money - and the service is very pleasant. Ideal for families and groups.
The terrace of the Tanit restaurant overlooking the yachts of the Poltu Quatu marina

Tanit

Located in the Poltu Quatu marina, the restaurant offers a breathtaking view over the port. Prepared with premium ingredients, the Mediterranean dishes are very tasty and especially the fish specialities. Service is attentive. If you head to Tanit for your evening ashore, try to make it on time for sunset! You can enjoy a few drinks on the beautiful terrace.
Looking for something different to experience during your yacht charter in Sardinia?

Lu Stazzu is located just a few minutes away from Porto Rotondo marina. The setting is quite magical and offers a stunning sea panorama.  This is the place to dine on authentic Sardinian cuisine and local wine. Dishes from the fixed menu are simple but tasty and much of the focus is on sourcing local products. Service is friendly but can be long on occasions. Make sure you book a table on the terrace and not in the courtyard.
